A delicious and protein-packed alternative to traditional chocolate peanut butter eggs, perfect for a guilt-free snack or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup protein powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Mix the Base: In a large bowl, combine the natural peanut butter, maple syrup, protein powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir until everything is well incorporated.
  2. Shape the Eggs: With clean hands, take a tablespoon of the mixture and shape it into egg-like forms. Place each shaped egg onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Freeze the Eggs: Transfer the baking sheet to the freezer and let the eggs freeze for about 30 minutes or until they become firm.
  4. Melt the Chocolate: While the eggs are freezing, melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-30 second intervals, stirring in between.
  5. Dip in Chocolate: Once the eggs are firm, remove them from the freezer. Dip each egg into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated.
  6. Chill Until Set: Place the chocolate-covered eggs back on the parchment paper and return to the refrigerator until the chocolate has set.
  7. Enjoy: Once the chocolate is firm, enjoy your Healthy Reese’s Eggs as a nutritious snack!

Notes

Use natural peanut butter without added sugars for the best flavor. Experiment with different nut butters or flavors of protein powder.
