A quick and easy one-pot lasagna that combines ground beef, pasta, and cheese for a comforting family meal.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz uncooked pasta (lasagna noodles or shells)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 2 cups chicken or beef stock
  • 1 tsp dried herbs (oregano and basil)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef in a large skillet over medium heat until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the tomato sauce and stock. Mix in dried herbs, salt, and pepper, stirring to combine.
  3. Cook the mixture until boiling, then add the uncooked pasta. Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
  5. Serve warm, scooping the lasagna onto plates.

Notes

Stir the pasta occasionally while cooking to prevent sticking. Adjust seasoning according to taste.
