Delightful, healthy air fryer apple chips made with just a few ingredients for a satisfying snack.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 medium Apples (sweet varieties like Fuji or Honeycrisp)
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • Optional Sweetener (such as honey or maple syrup)

Instructions

  1. Wash and core the apples. Using a mandoline or sharp knife, slice them as thinly as possible (about 1/8 inch thick).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the sliced apples with lemon juice. Allow the apples to soak for about 5 minutes.
  3. If desired, sprinkle the cinnamon over the soaked apple slices and toss gently to ensure even coating.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 160°F (70°C).
  5. Place the apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook the apple slices for 15-20 minutes, checking halfway through.
  7. Once cooked, remove the chips from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack.

Notes

Ensure even slicing to achieve crispy chips and avoid overcrowding the air fryer.
